Amazing Navajo Tacos! Next time we order the Navajo burger. Cooks and counter staff are so nice and helpful. If you blink you could miss it. It literally is a shack but its clean and you either eat outside at the tables or in your car. We bought fry bread and has it fir breakfast the next morning- awesome!
Food was delicious the service was attentive We will be back. The Navajo tacos were delicious, fresh and filling. There is not good signage this place is literally a "shack" with shade, cold beverages.
Food, service and atmosphere was phenomenal. Everyone was so friendly. We had the mutton sandwich, it comes with potatoes, corn and a roasted pepper. There's nothing about this place that I didn't love. If you're ever in Cameron, AZ make it a must stop.
I went in through the east entrance of the Grand Canyon recently, to experience a less touristy section of the park, and to be able to drive through part of the Navajo nation on the way there. This roadside restaurant was humble. The woman cooking made you feel like family, and her food was filled with love. I got a fry bread taco, and tried mutton and dumpling stew for the first time. It was such a simple meal, but one that I'll drive out of my way for if I'm ever in the area again.
We stopped here for lunch and enjoyed our meals. The owners were very welcoming. We had the mutton sandwich on fry bread and it was delicious. Very authentic food.
We were recommended to this local eatery by an employee at the Cameron Trading post (no names mentioned as I don't want that person to get in trouble not recommending the post restaurant) and I am so glad I did. Not quite hungry enough for lunch, but my taste buds have been craving fry bread since my last visit in 2018, it's not something that is on many menus in Michigan. This was fresh, hot, full of good nocks and crannies for the honey to mix with the cinnamon, just so good! Ladies, thanks for a great experience and I hope to see you on my next visit into your beautiful area! Hope you love your little gifts from your Detroit friends.
Sooooo good!!!! We had the Navajo burger and Navajo taco. Threw in a couple picadillies just for fun! My kids loved the food. Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars was the limited menu selection. Great food and great people!
Hole in the wall shack serving local food. The staff were super friendly and the portion was huge. I got the Navajo Taco and it was big enough to share with my husband. The food was unique and delicious. Next time we'll for sure try the Navajo Burger
